Challenge

Find one possibly two Account Supervisor/Account Director level B2B Tech professionals that could be based within any U.S. market as this was a remote role.

Results

Leveraged our network of talent across the U.S. to connect with and identify B2B tech professionals. Placed two candidates one full-time at the Sr. Account Director level and one Freelancer within 5 weeks of engaging on the search.

RED BULL

Challenge

Storytelling is an integral part of this high-profile brand’s DNA. Red Bull prides itself on producing premium, authentic entertainment and asked PRT to source a top-notch Internal Comms Manager who could passionately tell the Red Bull story across multiple media globally. The action lifestyle energy drink also requested a highly organized Manager of Media who would provide data-driven insights into brand impact via earned media and events.

Results

Diving deep into its deep talent pool, as well as leveraging social media tactics, PRT sourced several outstanding candidates excited about working at the leading edge, innovative brand. The choice for the Internal Comms role was a Senior Comms Specialist from a Fortune 250 company who was developing strategy and executing internal comms campaigns for a far-flung worldwide enterprise — and also happened to have an action sports itch he wanted to scratch.
For the Manager of Media, PRT snagged a talented executive at a top five LA PR firm with extensive digital monitoring and analytics experience who also served as the operations lead for the Global Intelligence Monitoring Network (GIMN).

SUPER DELUXE – Turner’s Online Studio

Challenge

Tasked with finding their first head of PR, Turner asked PR Talent to find someone who could drive eyeballs to edgy, multi-platform content being developed by its online studio, Super Deluxe. The role required a creative digital thinker but also someone with strong entertainment media contacts and storytelling experience to drive the corporate profile.

Results

Identifying top digital talent – not traditional entertainment publicists — was the strategic focus of the search. PR Talent quickly homed in on candidates from mass media who were experienced in effectively leveraging multi-platform campaigns to get the most buzz for their content. A Senior Digital Editor from the LA Times with storytelling chops and strategic digital insights rose to the top and became the first head of PR for Super Deluxe.

BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT

Challenge

Blizzard Entertainment, one of the world’s top video game developers and publishers, was seeking a Global PR Manager to play a key role in shaping the global communications for two of its key games. Requirements included: global leadership, regional PR strategy experience, ability to motivate developers to collaborate with marketing, a passion for the specific Blizzard games to be overseen, and a deep knowledge of gaming and the industry overall. Oh… did we also mention crisis management experience too?

Results

PR Talent worked its network of gaming contacts and identified a rock star candidate who not only had global gaming experience at a leading competitor but also was a former music artist manager who knew how to collaborate with creative talent (developers). The result was enhanced collaboration and world class results for Blizzard’s global PR campaigns.

Weber Shandwick

Challenge

Find West Coast Healthcare talent to add to a growing team. Can be based in Seattle, SF or LA. Also wanted a senior tech specialist in Seattle and media relations pro in SF.

Results

Leveraging on-the-ground recruiters in all three markets, PR Talent coordinated efforts to move quickly and source candidates with biotech, pharma and hospital experience from AS to Sr. Director levels. Four hires made in less than 6 weeks.
