Huntington Beach, Calif., March 11, 2009 – PR Talent, one of the nation’s largest virtual PR consultancies, is launching PinPointPR, a service that provides localized public relations support to companies who require cost-efficient, market-by-market solutions.

“Companies have always been looking for ways to support multiple regions or even individual locations with a customized, affordable PR program,” said Jim Delulio, president of PR Talent. “Now, with a network of more than 1200 freelancers nationally, we are able to provide that support at very reasonable rates because we don’t have the overhead of traditional firms.”

Dave Nobs, an industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience in public relations, marketing and advertising, created PinPointPR and is responsible for strategic planning and program management. He’ll work closely with clients to provide leadership and assemble the teams that will handle local market implementation while meshing with the goals of their national communications campaigns.

“With our deep talent pool of experts nationwide, we’re able to offer clients everything from brand marketing and traditional media relations to social media and special events to our amazing team of writers – even former White House speechwriters,” said Nobs. “These regional PR teams will develop targeted communications plans that answer the unique, market-by-market needs of each client.”

PinPointPR will offer clients a flat monthly rate of around $2000 per month for each market and provide a mix of local community relations, news release writing, media relations, charity tie-ins, event support, and sponsorship opportunities. The mix of activities would be determined by the local needs and PR opportunities available.

“The great advantage to companies is they get on-the-ground support and consulting from top-notch PR pros at a much lower cost. And, most PR firms would not even entertain handling an account at a rate of $2000 per market,” points out Delulio.

“PinPointPR is the ideal solution for both multinational corporations looking to reach its customers on a market-by-market basis and small businesses who are looking to further penetrate their local markets and broaden their customer reach,” added Nobs. “While it’s primarily intended for consumer marketers to capture incremental sales, it can easily be adapted to almost any company or industry that has specific market needs.”

The launch of PinPointPR reunites Delulio and Nobs, who first worked together at Burson-Marsteller in the early 1980s. Having held senior executive positions at several leading public relations firms, Nobs has managed a number of high-profile, award-winning campaigns for a variety of clients including Coca-Cola, Bank of America, Microsoft, Reebok and Sprint.

If listed among traditional independent agencies, PR Talent’s army of 1200 freelancers nationwide would rank as the second largest independent “agency” and arguably the largest virtual agency in the country. Edelman, with 2860 employees is the largest independent PR firm, with Waggener Edstrom currently ranked as #2 with 801 PR executives.

PR Talent was founded by Delulio in 1998 as one of the first virtual agencies and evolved into a firm that offers both freelance and full-time public relations talent to companies and PR firms. The firm has offices in New York, New Jersey and Huntington Beach, California. Delulio started his career with Burson-Marsteller in New York and served as EVP for PainePR of Irvine for 10 years before launching PR Talent.
