Description

Global strategic communications firm is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join its Seattle team.  

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing portions of large client projects or managing small client projects independently, with a particular emphasis on providing support to firm's growing technology practice
  • Prepares client-ready materials (i.e. summary reports, press releases, credentials, proposals) and can quickly review and improve the work product of junior team members.
  • Provide the highest level of client service on a daily basis through proactive account management
  • Produce flawless written deliverables
  • Maintain deep understanding of industry topics, issues or news involving client accounts in order to effectively deliver strong and creative communication strategies that are relevant to their needs and business objectives Independently coordinates client meetings and events
  • Closely monitor and analyze media coverage, public opinion, and online issues environment involving client accounts
  • Take ownership of media relations efforts including cultivating relationships with media

Qualifications

  • 4 - 6 years of communication experience (e.g. public affairs, journalism, crisis or strategic communications)
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
  • Interest and experience in technology sector is a plus
  • Solid project management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and the professionalism of a consultant
  • Strong tactical and strategic abilities
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative team player
  • Strong presentation skills are also necessary
