XPRIZE seeks a creative marketing content producer/ editor with a strong interest in technology to help conceive and produce marketing collateral, data sheets, event presentations, and stories for the AI XPRIZE. The stories will be captured and told through every form of media available: from interviews, to reported articles and reviews to podcasts and videos—and amplified via social media.

The AI XPRIZE focuses on strong partnerships and ecosystems that support one of the largest AI competitions. The crowd participation brings new opportunities for sharing and disseminating content, and will be presented both online and offline in various gatherings related to the competition.

The ideal candidate is excited about the challenge of leveraging technological breakthroughs in AI and adjacent fields to help a community of support bring AI applications to life that will address humanity’s grand challenges.


  • Manage and edit the flow of content that the AI XPRIZE team creates, and prepare for appropriate publishing on a weekly or monthly basis.
  • Create collateral and write about the field of AI as it relates to the AI XPRIZE.
  • Edit short news posts, team stories, market and industry news. Suggest or write pieces based on what's going on in the field of technology, and most specifically AI, and the AI PRIZE.
  • Collaborate with XPRIZE marketing, web, and PR team as well as outside marketing resources to meet the AI XPRIZE content and outreach objectives
  • Be a point of contact with XPRIZE partners and stakeholders and assist and coordinate content production and dissemination.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with 2-3 years professional editing experience
  • Interest in breakthrough technology innovation in general, and crowdsourced innovation in particular
  • Experience working with start-ups
  • Web marketing experience, including experiences with personal responsibility for web analytics, search engine marketing, paid advertising, and creating web pages and landing pages, is a plus
  • Previous experience with tech-focused publications is a plus. Previous experience covering breaking news or live events also a plus
  • BS or BA degree with major or minor in science
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PPT. HTML and Web technologies a plus
